This course enhances your skills in communicating arguments, or reasons for your actions, beliefs, and positions on issues of practical concern. Critical thinking skills (taught here!) make a positive difference in your life, as a citizen of the contemporary world and the future.

Topics are: Informal Logic, Fallacies (often portrayed in cartoons), Arguments for the Existence of God, Existentialism, Moral and Political Philosophies, the logic and rise of modern science, Aesthetics, and Post-Colonial Philosophy. GO TO Student Registration to be sure you have access to all the online materials here. They are also at your MyLearning site, under "PowerPoints"-- and "AudioVisuals" but you can only "PRACTICE" with tutorial quizzes on each chapter at the COURSE CONTENT, then "PRACTICE, practice, practice" ! Enjoy.
